GoHighLevel
Your GoHighLevel
account is still yours
If the location is in an account you can still open, the contacts, calendars, and conversations stay there. Turn off the SimpleTalk workflows before you point the number at anything new.
Updated October 15, 2026. The SimpleTalk login is gone. Your location login is a different login.
In the location you can still open
UnhookSimpleTalkinsideGoHighLevel
Do this before a new receptionist goes live. An old workflow plus a new one is how the same person gets two calls.
- 1
Open the location you control
If you cannot open GoHighLevel either, this page cannot help. Start with the company that bills the number.
- 2
Write down the numbers
List every phone number on the location, and where voice and SMS are pointed.
- 3
Turn the automations off
Disable workflows, triggers, and conversation actions that send through SimpleTalk, or that dial and text on their own. A new receptionist plus an old workflow contacts the same person twice.
- 4
Assign the calendar
Open the calendar. Name a person for every appointment in the next two weeks that does not already have one.
- 5
Read the recent conversations
Look at the last few days so you know who was already texted or called. Leave outbound off until that list exists.
- 6
Then point the number
Send the number to a person, or to Lippy, only after those workflows are off. Place one test call and confirm it shows up on the location.
